Central Community Services is seeking two part-time (20-35 hours weekly) Certified Peer Support Specialists to provide services for adults with mental illnesses in Granville, Vance, Franklin, and Warren counties.  Interventions to include advocacy, instruction of illness management and recovery skills, assistance with housing and employment efforts, development of WRAPs, and community integration.

Peer Support Services Coordinator

Central Community Services is expanding our Peer Support Services and seeking a QP/experienced supervisor to work with us in Franklin and Warren counties.  Our team focuses on the recovery and wellness needs of adults with mental illness.  The Coordinator is responsible for managing incoming referrals, developing and monitoring Person Centered Plans (to include crisis and WRAPs), submitting service authorizations, supervising assigned peer staff, and direct service provision.

Peer Support Specialist

Peer Support staff must meet requirements as specified in 10A N.C.A.C. 27G 0104, and supervision of staff must be provided according to the supervision requirements specified in 10A N.C.A.C. 27G.0204.
Peer Support staff are NC Certified Peer Support Specialists who meet all of the following requirements:

Peer Suport Specialist and QP

CPSS or Paraprofessionals

This is a flexible, part-time or full-time position, that requires direct care to members in the field. The CPSS or Paraprofessional will host the Quarterly Committee Events, Quarterly Clients Rights Committee Meetings, Monthly Consumer Surveys, and ensure Client Participation. All other duties will be delegated within Agency. This is a rewarding long-term position to qualified candidates who have integrity and a passion for human services.
