Peer Support Specialist- Shelter Manager (Mission Ministries Alliance-Center for Men)

Leadership:

  • Supervise Resident Advisor(s), Driver(s), and other assigned staff.
  • Develop and implement a professional development program for staff.
  • Establish objective performance measurements and ensure accountability among team members.
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff members in the department.

Certified Peer Support Specialist/IPS Supportive Employment -Employment Peer Mentor

Employment Peer Mentor (EPM): EPMs offer hope and motivation by drawing from their lived experience and their own employment experiences to encourage other individuals to seek and maintain employment, wellness, and community integration. Employment Peer Mentors do not hold their own caseloads and do not function as an extension of ESPs or as case managers. They support any and all individuals enrolled in the service through the provision of wellness interventions, promoting self-determination, and helping individuals advocate for themselves.

Emergency shelter-program assistant, NCPSS Mission Ministries Alliance

•    Supports daily operations of emergency shelter.
•    Assist in the implementation and coordination of program activities.
•    Collaborate with team members to ensure effective program delivery.
•    Provide administrative support to program staff, including scheduling and preparing materials.
•    Conduct research and gather information to support program development and evaluation.
•    Completes an initial needs assessment and acts upon critical needs appropriately and immediately.
