Central Community Services is seeking two part-time (20-35 hours weekly) Certified Peer Support Specialists to provide services for adults with mental illnesses in Granville, Vance, Franklin, and Warren counties. Interventions to include advocacy, instruction of illness management and recovery skills, assistance with housing and employment efforts, development of WRAPs, and community integration.
Must be currently certified as a North Carolina Peer Support Specialist, have related experience, be committed to best and ethical practices, have good written and oral communication skills, work well independently and within a team, and have reliable transportation.
Hourly wage is $14-$16 base on experience. Priority preference for full-time vacancies is given to part-time staff.
