Clark, Ronald "Ron" Alexander

Ron Clark began his Human Services career with Cardinal Innovations, as a Consumer Affairs Substance Use Disorder Specialist in March 2014.Prior to working for Cardinal Innovations, Ron was able to use his passion to help others by providing career coaching and guiding clients toward discovering and pursuing their career goals through his employment as a technician of the Displaced Homemaker Program with the Domestic Violence Unit of the Mecklenburg County Women's Commission. That same passion is nurtured daily at Ron's present position with Cardinal Innovations as he is able to use his lived experience to touch even more lives. Ron uses his experience, strength, and hope to help others navigate through and advocate for the high quality of life that they deserve. In addition to Ron's current licenses and accreditations, he is a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Facilitator and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) Facilitator.

Ron Co-Chairs the Mecklenburg County Homeless Service Network Advocacy Committee, and is a member of the Carolina Healthcare Systems Advisory Board for the Traumatic Brain Injury 12 Step Recovery program.  He currently serves as the Vice Chair of Mecklenburg County Drug Free Coalition, in addition to being a member of the Latino Drug Free Coalition. Ron is also a lean Six Sigma Professional. When Ron is not busy helping in the community, he enjoys music, basketball, chess and all types of "sweets."  Ron spends as much time as possible with family, most notably, his seven grandchildren, which range from the age of 3 to 13 years old. Ron truly believes "if I can't-we can."
