Paula Harrington is a Certified Peer Support Specialist / Trainer, Recovery Coach / Trainer and currently is Special Projects Coordinator for Oxford House, Inc., Board Chair of the Freedom House Recovery Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina,  Vice Chair of the Orange County Local Re-Entry Council Executive Committee and Board Treasurer of the Association of Recovery in Higher Education.

Ms. Harrington is a woman in long-term recovery since 1998. She works with those coming out of incarceration and treatment who have substance use disorders and mental disabilities. She has developed unique partnerships with community partners  that support this population of persons  and helps them find the resources needed so vital that builds recovery capital by promoting person centered plans with them which helps them establish their own goals. She has worked tireless over two decades as an addiction educator.
