David is a bilingual Peer Support Specialist at Camino Health Center and a proud alumnus of Florida International University. He is passionate about supporting all pathways to recovery and deeply committed to reducing the stigma surrounding substance use and mental health challenges. Known for his sense of humor, David enjoys bringing laughter to those around him.

Born and raised in Miami, FL, David found fulfillment in serving his local community. In August 2022, he realized an adulthood dream by relocating to the Charlotte metro area. His greatest joy is his family—his wife, Selena, and their children, Desiree and William—with whom he cherishes spending most of his free time.

David is a person in sustained recovery from alcohol and substance use disorder, and his experiences inspire his dedication to helping others on their recovery journey.
