About the Role:

Peace of Mind Community Care is seeking passionate and dedicated Peer Support Specialists to join our team. This role involves providing hope, support, and guidance to individuals on their recovery journey, using your own lived experience to inspire and empower others.

Responsibilities:

• Provide peer-to-peer support and encouragement
• Assist clients in setting and achieving personal recovery goals
• Connect individuals to community resources and services
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Advocate for client needs while respecting confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Current NC Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassion, empathy, and commitment to recovery-oriented care
