Miriam Madison

Miriam Madison has been a team member with the North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist (NCCPSS) Program since 2021, where she supports the application process and continuing education for peer support specialists across the state. In this role, she helps ensure a smooth and accessible certification experience while maintaining the systems that support workforce development in peer support. Miriam is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and African, African American, and African Diaspora Studies, as well as a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Community, Management, and Public Policy. She enjoys learning new ways to improve systems and strengthen service delivery, focusing on practical solutions that support both practitioners and the communities they serve.
