Tammi Hampton Taylor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Counseling Studies. She is a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist (NCCPSS) with more than 13 years of experience supporting individuals on their recovery journeys.

Tammi is a certified NCCPSS Trainer, a certified Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) Facilitator, a certified Family Peer Specialist, and completed training as a Certified Older Adult Peer Specialist. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to helping individuals build hope, resilience, and meaningful pathways to recovery. Tammi created HER, a support group for black women’s support.

As a facilitator of emotional wellness support groups, Tammi is passionate about promoting the emotional and mental well-being of individuals living with mental health and substance use challenges. Through peer support, education, and advocacy, she empowers individuals to strengthen their recovery, develop self-advocacy skills, and achieve their personal wellness goals.
