NC Certified Peer Support Specialist for counties 1 hour from Durham, NC, office
Must be able to meet in person in Durham office location for face-to-face monthly supervision purposes.
Must be able to print/scan/email or have ability/resource to do so-- and have available voicemail to reach easily. Must own vehicle for transportation for self.
Hiring PRIORITY given to those who can bring in self-referrals to build your individual case load closer to your residence for reduced gas expense and ease in daily scheduling to expedite start date.

Hiring base rate: $18/hour + for those new to the field/health, or higher, determined by years of qualified strong peer work experience and ability to refer in your caseload.
DSS/Social Workers/Teachers are encouraged to apply - even for PT positions.
Will require training certificates and 2 work references if cleared for hiring/offer of employment in 30 days. (NCI, CPR/First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, Ethics 101 and 102)
Must have clean NC Healthcare Registry verification (not listed, no findings or investigations) and clean criminal/DMV background check in pre-screening.
Willing to train newly certified peer support specialists who obtain their required trainings in 30 days or less and willing to bring in self-referrals.
