Position Overview
Global Vision Support Services LLC is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and recovery-focused **Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) to join our growing behavioral health team. The CPSS will provide peer support services to individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges, helping them develop recovery skills, access community resources, and achieve their personal goals.

Minimum Qualifications
- Current North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) certification.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience** providing peer support services.
- At least three (3) years of continuous personal recovery** from mental health and/or substance use challenges.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
- Ability to pass required background checks and credentialing requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Utilize lived experience to inspire hope and promote recovery.
* Provide one-on-one peer support services in community, office, and home settings.
* Assist individuals in developing recovery plans and achieving self-identified goals.
* Teach and model effective coping skills, self-advocacy, and wellness strategies.
* Support consumers in accessing community resources, healthcare services, employment, education, and housing opportunities.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Medicaid, agency, and regulatory standards.
* Participate in team meetings, supervision, and required trainings.
* Promote person-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
* Knowledge of local community resources and support systems.
* Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with electronic health records and Medicaid documentation.
