Standards-Based Solutions, LLC is seeking to hire the following individual for one (1) position:     

In-Office Direct Service Worker (DSW) 

LOCATION:  Chapel Hill, NC

 

POSITION SUMMERY:  The In-Office Direct Service Worker (DSW) facilitates specific social, behavioral, and emotional interventions to assist the Client with achieving his/her maximum potential.  Primary responsibilities include providing assessment and intensive social and behavioral interventions to Clients.  Documents client interactions that are consistent with the Client treatment plan.  DSW will provide interventions in office and in the community (when required).  DSW coordinates/reports significant information to Director of Client Services.  DSW must be capable of emotionally assisting Clients, dealing with emergencies, and working with Clients in their familiar environment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service field (social work, criminal justice, psychology)
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • 18 to 24 months' experience as a Mental Health Technician, or direct care experience in the human service field experience working directly with adults with mental illness, behavioral or development disabilities
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Current Automobile Insurance
  • First Aid/CPR - current
  • EBPI or NCI Certification - current
  • Not a family member of the member who receives Peer Support Services

 

ADDITIONAL STAFFING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must maintain in writing a definitive weekly schedule of in-office hours versus in-community hours 
  • Must attend Monthly staff meetings and Supervisions
  • Must be a Certified Peer Support Specialist (with an unexpired certification)
