Meridian is hiring Peer Support Specialists in the following programs: Early Recovery Team in Haywood/Jackson Counties, ACT team in Jackson County, ACT team in Cherokee County, Recovery Education Center in Jackson County and PACE (all peer team) in Haywood County. Being a Peer Support Specialist provides an opportunity for individuals to transform their own personal lived experience with mental health and/or addiction challenges into a tool for inspiring hope for recovery in others. Applicants must demonstrate maturity in their own recovery process, have a HS Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and have moderate computer skills.
