A Path to Recovery: Peer Support Specialist Training is the peer support curriculum adapted by Camino Community Development Corp, Inc. The title affirms that recovery is achievable, but there is no right or wrong way to choose recovery; everyone travels on a different journey to the same result.
The class is in-person for two consecutive weekends, beginning on October 16 and ending on October 25. We meet on October 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, and 25 at the following times, Fridays: 5:00-9:00pm and Saturdays and Sundays: 8:30am-5:00pm
The class is in English. Anyone from any culture or background is welcome to attend. This is a 50-hour North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist (NCCPSS) Program Approved Course (40 hours of in-person instruction and 10 hours of pre-work/homework). This is a Track B approved course.
