Johnstin, Ken

Ken Johnstin grew up in Arlington Heights, Illinois, a suburb north of Chicago.  Ken attended Colorado State University and entered the corporate work force spending 14 years, ending his tenure as a Market Leader. Ken and his wife bought their own business which “ran them” for 11 years. Blessed with two beautiful and amazing children, who continue to reside in Ohio, Ken’s true recovery story began ten years ago in Morehead City, N.C. After attending a six-month faith-based recovery program, Ken became employed by the program, and hasn’t  looked back.  He assumed responsibility of Program manager five years ago, at which time the agency averaged fourteen clients. Today,  they maintain about 50 clients.  Morning devotions, incorporating 12 step principles on a daily basis, weekly meetings in two County jails with inmates, forty clients and 12 workers are a major part of my pathway to recovery.

Ken has been a NCCPSS since 2019.
