Evans, Tabitha

Tabitha Evans is a master's level social work graduate from Loyola University in Chicago. She has been training mental health professionals for 3 years and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 10 years. She entered the field of human service as a child experiencing complex trauma. While working through the effects of her childhood trauma she realized the process to her healing could have been better orchestrated if more professionals were trained identifying trauma and understood the healing power of peer to peer connection and engagement. This experience encouraged her to train others on how to identify the recovery needs of those dealing with mental health and substance use symptoms.
