Description
Recovery Together ENC is hosting a 50 hour NC certified peer support specialist training.
Saturday March 29, Sunday March 30, Saturday April 5, Sunday April 6, Saturday April 12, 2025. If you would like to join us, please complete the attached application and email it to charlyneboyette@gmail.com and please remember peer support specialists are people with lived experiences in recovery from mental health and/or substance use challenges. This training has a minimum of 10 people and a maximum of 15 people. If ten people do not sign up, referrals can be given for you to participate in another training at Wayne Community College in May.
Once accepted, please begin working on the attached advanced assignment that you get 10 (ten) hours credit for completing. You can email it to me when you are done or bring it with you on the first day of training- along with your payment. If you have not taken WRAP, please contact Ms. Patty Wafford at patty.watford@kinstonchc.org or Patty Schaffer at ps@wellsurgent.com but you can still answer WRAP related questions with a little help from Google. Gold stars for bringing your individualized recovery and wellness plan with you too.
