Job Title: House Manager/ Peer Support
Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-In Certified Peer Support Manager to oversee and coordinate services for individuals residing in supported living environments in coordination with another staff who will work a coexisting schedule of one week on, one week off beginning on Monday afternoons and ending on Monday mornings. Staff is free to use the time that the patients are in the day programs at their leisure outside of occasionally being asked to take a patient to an appointment, etc. This role requires a strong background in addiction counseling, crisis intervention, and social work. The ideal candidate will live on property, manage the housing environment, and provide essential support to ensure the well-being of residents. The role demands excellent organizational skills, the ability to maintain strong boundaries, and adherence to ethical practices. Pay will be an annual salary of $40,000 or more based on experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Housing Management:

Supervise the cleanliness and organization of the housing environment.

Ensure residents are adhering to daily living routines, including laundry, bed-making, and maintaining clean living areas.

Ensure the living environment is safe and conducive to recovery and personal growth.

Program Coordination:

Schedule and oversee grocery store trips, doctor appointments, and group activities.

Plan and facilitate therapeutic group outings on Saturdays.

Develop and implement healthy routines and activities that support the residents' well-being.

Individualized Support:

Create and implement individualized support plans tailored to each resident's needs.

Provide guidance on daily living skills, addiction treatment, and behavioral management.

Assessment and Adjustment:

Conduct regular assessments to monitor resident progress and adjust support plans as necessary.

Document and report on residents' progress and any incidents or concerns.

Crisis Management:

Handle crisis situations effectively and efficiently.

Complete incident reports and address any immediate concerns in a timely manner.

Coordination with External Agencies:

Work with external agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for residents (e.g., food stamps, Medicaid).

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support and care.

Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders involved in resident care.

Qualifications:

Certification:

Current Certified Peer Support accreditation.

Current NC Drivers License

Experience:

Proven experience in addiction counseling, motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and behavioral health.

Experience in mentoring or supervising individuals in a supportive setting.
