CAMINO Health: A Path to Recovery Peer Support Training 

This is a 50-hour training in accordance to the NC Peer Support Specialist program. The training is facilitated by a seasoned Peer Support Specialist and it provides a safe sharing environment with recovery oriented practices.

Peer Support as a career is a very unique culture. Peer Support specialists have shown they can work side by side with mental health professionals to engage members and assist them on the road to recovery. Having been through your own recovery process, you can share your stories of recovery with others. In so during, you validate the distressing feelings peers often have, instill hope by demonstrating how recovery is possible, and help others heading down the often difficult road to recovery.
