Spears, Terri

Terri Spears earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Appalachian State University. She continued her education, earning both a Master of Science in Counselor Education and a Master of Science in Education Administration and Supervision from North Carolina A&T State University. Terri began her career in the field of addiction at a residential treatment center as an Admissions Counselor, later becoming a counselor in the Family Program. She transitioned to public education becoming a fulltime school counselor and administrator yet remained part time at the treatment center facilitating a weekly family group for over 16 years. After 25 years in public education, Terri returned to the same treatment center as a Family and Primary Therapist until accepting a position as the Coordinator for a collegiate recovery community. Her passion is people, particularly those impacted by addiction.
