Type: Part-time, Monday-Friday, 1 pm - 4 pm and Saturday or Sunday for 5.5 hours between 9 am - 5 pm.

The Certified Peer Specialist plays a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health and substance use challenges. This position involves leveraging personal experience to foster hope, resilience, and recovery among clients. The Certified Peer Specialist will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide guidance, mentorship, and advocacy, helping clients navigate their recovery journey effectively.

Responsibilities

Position: Certified Peer Support Specialists at King Prestige Services, LLC will utilize their personal lived recovery experience to assist and support Members on a one-on-one basis. Your role will involve advocacy for your client, direct peer support, and working closely with the clinical team to enhance client outcomes. We service all areas of Eastern and Western North Carolina. We are specifically looking in Forsyth County for Full-time or Part-time Certified Peer Support Specialists.

This post provides support, outreach, skilled interventions, care coordination and re-entry services for persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorders with non-violent charges or at risk for incarceration. Services are provided within the community, private homes, jail, and court.
