Job Posting Title Health Care Technician II (Peer Support Specialist) - Cherry Hospital

This position is responsible for facilitating groups such as Peer Support and formal Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) classes within the treatment mall program. It also provides 1:1 peer support intervention for individual patients as requested by the treatment team. The individual in this position serves as members of the hospital’s Hope & Wellness Center Design Team and a variety of other hospital committees and work groups as needed. Participation in Treatment Team meetings.

Salary Range: $32,444 - $48,665

Recruitment Range: $39,312 - $43,302

Certified Peer Support Specialist

Certified Peer Support specialist to work 1:1 in the home and community with individuals in Craven and/or Carteret County.  Part-time may easily become full time if desired.  Work on skills such as self advocacy, coping skills, stress reduction, diagnosis education and support, independent living, vocational and educational support.
