Certified Peer Support Specialist

Central Community Services is recruiting for two CPSS positions to serve adults with mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders in Vance, Granville, Franklin, and Warren counties. This post provides support, skills training, mentoring, and care coordination to promote individual recovery and community tenure. The ideal candidate has:

• NC PSS Certification
• Minimum of high school diploma
• At least one year of related work experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Commitment to best practices and ethical care
• Experience with documentation
• Flexibility and accountability.

• Acceptable criminal and driving record

  Hourly wage is $20-$26 based on education and experience. Part-time or full-time opportunity.
