We are excited to invite individuals in recovery to explore meaningful career opportunities in Peer Support Services. This event is designed for those with lived experience who are passionate about helping others navigate their recovery journey.

Certified Peer Support Specialist

The purpose of this role is to connect Recovery Court participants and community members with resources to support and promote their recovery journey. The CPSS should be able to draw upon personal life experience in his/her work with clients and feel comfortable with the self-disclosure of some aspects of those experiences with mental health issues, substance use issues, and/or treatment and recovery, while maintaining appropriate boundaries in an effort to connect them with recovery support services.

Job description:

Country Living Guest Home, Inc. is looking for a Certified Peer Support Specialist to provide flexible peer support hours to our residents. This position has the ability to be part-time or full-time, while making your own schedule. Evening hours and weekend hours are desired.

Requirements:

Peer Support Specialist Certified

CPR/FA Certified (Can arrange upon hire)

NC Drivers License

Clean Criminal Background Check and Health Care Registry

High School Diploma or GED
