JOB SUMMARY: As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the Peer Support Specialist will provide peer support services to persons with mental illness and/or substance abuse problems. The Peer Support Specialist will assist clients with developing self-help, crisis/coping and social skills. Support will also be provided to clients to assist them with finding resources for housing, employment and/or education, while helping to develop a secure network of community support.

Position: Certified Peer Support Specialists at King Prestige Services, LLC will utilize their personal lived recovery experience to assist and support clients on a one-on-one basis. Your role will involve advocacy for your client, direct peer support, and working closely with the clinical team to enhance client outcomes. We service all areas of Eastern and Western North Carolina. We are specifically looking in Forsyth county for Full-time or Part-time Certified Peer Support Specialists.

We are a CARF and CABHA accredited behavioral health agency, and we are expanding and looking for great people to join our team! We have IMMEDIATE NEEDS in the Wake and Durham County areas.

The Peer Support Specialist provide individualized, recovery-focused support to persons that promotes the development of wellness self-management, personal recovery, natural supports, coping and self-advocacy skills, and the development of independent living skills for housing, employment and full community inclusion. This role is to be performed IN-PERSON.

Posting Salary Range: $34,608 - $42,230

Office Location: Remote in Region Mid State; requires you to live within 75 miles of counties included in the Mid State Region; Anson, Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph and Richmond

Recovery Engagement Specialist I - Women’s Campus

Part-Time - Non-Exempt

This position provides support and non-medical detoxification services to individuals who are homeless, uninsured and/or underserved. While on shift, this position helps to ensure the safety of our participants and is responsible for documentation and crisis management.  Availability across all days and shifts is required (7am – 3pm, 3pm – 11pm, 11pm – 7am), including holidays. Part time hours are 16 - 24 hours weekly.
