The Peer Support Specialist provide individualized, recovery-focused support to persons that promotes the development of wellness self-management, personal recovery, natural supports, coping and self-advocacy skills, and the development of independent living skills for housing, employment and full community inclusion. This position provides support and non-medical detoxification services to individuals who are homeless, uninsured and/or underserved. While on shift, this position helps to ensure the safety of our participants and is responsible for documentation and crisis management.  Availability across all days and shifts is required (7am – 3pm, 3pm – 11pm, 11pm – 7am), including holidays. Part time hours are 16 - 24 hours weekly.
