Program Summary: Provide an array of Peer Support Services and Administrative functions as directed or assigned by immediate supervisor.
Position: Certified Peer Support Specialist must be certified by North Carolina’s Peer Support Specialist Program.
Reports to: Peer Support Services Program Supervisor (QP)
This position is an IPS Employment Peer Mentor (EPM). This professional’s life experience with mental illness or substance abuse and behavioral health services provides expertise that professional training cannot replicate. The Employment Peer Mentor is a fully integrated team member who provides highly individualized services in the community and promotes the self-determination and shared decision-making abilities of beneficiaries.

Type: Part-time, Monday-Friday, 1 pm - 4 pm and Saturday or Sunday for 5.5 hours between 9 am - 5 pm.
