Walker, Dianne MSQP

Dianne Walker has a passion for those who have fallen and feel they cannot get up. Her experience in areas that were deterrent to her destiny have become stepping stones toward her goal of empowering others to escape the snares that tried to hinder their productivity.

With God’s help, Ms. Walker equipped herself academically by obtaining an Associates in Human Service Technology (substance abuse concentration), Bachelor of Social Work, and a Masters in Psychology in order to assist others.  Also, Ms. Walker is trained as a facilitator in different recovery-oriented curricula including Empowered Life: Recovery Support Peer Training and Copeland Center Wellness Recovery Action Plan ® facilitation. Previously, she trained the Take Your Heart to Work curriculum under Monroe Consulting. She is honored that she gets to tell her story during these trainings!

Ms. Walker sits on a couple of committees under the umbrella of The North Carolina Collaborative for Children, Youth and Families (state collaborative) such as the Membership/Engagement/Sustainability and the Training/Workforce Development committees. Finally, Ms. Walker has various roles within Little Gerald Services, LLC, an agency that serves the mental health and substance use population.
