This post provides support, discharge planning, and aftercare for persons with mental illnesses and/or substance use disorders with non-violent charges. Services are provided within detention centers, courts, homes, and community service sites in Granville, Vance, Warren, and Franklin counties, North Carolina.
The ideal candidate has:
* NC-PSS Certification
* Lived experience with court processes
* Minium of High School diploma (degree preferred)
GREENSBORO area - mostly counties within 1 hour of Durham
NC Certified Peer Support Specialists with 2+ years actual work experience

Ability to recruit and maintain minimum of 8 self-referral cases (if PT, 5+ cases)
Ability to work M-F, 9am-5pm (other hours on weekends optional per contractor scheduling)
