The Peer Support Specialist primary responsibilities are to direct, coordinate, and manage the activities of a comprehensive mental health program and to ensure the program operates in full compliance with relevant laws, ensure accuracy of data; compliance with regulation; and identify operational efficiencies. CPSS to serve as a Care Management Extender.  Care Management is a service that coordinates both the physical and mental health/substance use care of individuals with Medicaid.  This position may be part time or full time depending on the applicants needs and the needs of the agency.  Salary is $18+ per hour.  The Extender will work hand in hand with the Care Manager to support individuals in the following ways: 

Peer Recovery 365, LLC. is looking for dedicated Peer Support Specialists, whose mission is to assist others with overcoming Substance use or mental health issues that the Peer maybe challenged with in their everyday life. A Peer Support Specialist with Peer Recovery 365, LLC. must be certified through the State of North Carolina and meet the following requirements below:

REPORTS TO: Peer Support Supervisor

CPSS to serve as a Care Management Extender.  Care Management is a service that coordinates both the physical and mental health/substance use care of individuals with Medicaid.  This position may be part time or full time depending on the applicants needs and the needs of the agency.  Salary is $18 per hour.  The Extender will work hand in hand with the Care Manager to support individuals in the following ways: 

Certified Peer Support Specialist to work either as a community based worker, working 1:1 with individuals with mental health or substance abuse struggles OR as part of the care management team working to address both the clients mental health and physical health struggles.  Positions may begin as part time but can become full time with benefits.  Please submit resume or letter of interest to lindamcdonald@lechris.com.  Needing individuals in Carteret, Craven, Pitt and Edgecombe/Nash areas.  $16-$19 per hour.
