Research Community Care is currently hiring a full-time Peer Support Specialist to work throughout Wake County and surrounding areas. We are looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, professional, and serious about helping others navigate recovery and life challenges.
Position Summary
Capital Assisted Services is seeking compassionate and motivated Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) to join our team. The CPSS uses their lived experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery to provide support, encouragement, advocacy, and mentorship to individuals working toward their own recovery goals. Summary:
This position is responsible for facilitating groups such as Peer Support and formal Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) classes within the treatment mall program. It also provides 1:1 peer support intervention for individual patients as requested by the treatment team. The individual in this position serves as members of the hospital’s Hope & Wellness Center Design Team and a variety of other hospital committees and work groups as needed. Participation in Treatment Team meetings.
Salary Range: $32,444 - $48,665
Recruitment Range: $39,312 - $43,302
