Job Description:
CPSS to provide 1:1 services with clients experiencing mental health and/or substance use services. All services are provided in the clients home and community. Position begins as part-time but can easily become full time if you desire. $17.75 and up per hour
Certified Peer Support Specialist who is also a Qualified Professional to work 1/2 time as QP and 1/2 time as Peer Support Specialist. Will meet with clients, complete Person Centered Plans, match clients with available Peers and supervise their work with clients. This person will also provide peer support for 2-4 clients. Salaried position $40-45K annually and has a benefit package. This position serves both Carteret and Craven counties. Bachelors degree plus experience required.
The Peer Support Specialist provides essential support and advocacy for individuals with behavioral health needs enrolled in Medicaid services. This role is pivotal in fostering resilience, enhancing self-management skills, and supporting recovery goals through the Medicaid Peer Support Program. The Peer Support Specialist uses their lived experience to empower individuals, promote wellness, and facilitate engagement with community resources, while upholding ethical standards and cultural competency.
