Qualifications: Must self-identify as an individual with life experience of being diagnosed with a serious mental illness. Must be well established in recovery and stable. Must be a North Carolina Certified Peer Specialist. Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalency. Must have a valid Driver’s Licenses and be able to travel to provide services in the community. Responsibilities: Provides life experiences with mental illness and mental health services. Provides highly individualized services in the community and promotes individual self-determination and decision making.
