Meridian is seeking a Peer Support Specialist, to join its Community Support Team (CST) in Transylvania County. Being a Peer Support Specialist provides an opportunity for individuals to transform their own personal lived experience with mental health and/or addiction challenges into a tool for inspiring hope for recovery in others. Applicants must demonstrate maturity in their own recovery process, have a HS Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and have moderate computer skills. Associate Professionals (must hold a bachelor’s degree) will also be considered for this position.
